Forecasting for the Colorado Front Range with Jessica Lebel

Jessica is a Colorado native whose interests in weather was sparked by the variety of weather Colorado has to offer. She received her B.S. in Atmospheric science with an emphasis in News Media Forecasting from the University of Kansas. She's currently an on-air meteorologist at KKTV in Colorado Springs.

We'll talk with Jessica about the difficulties of forecasting in Colorado along with some of differences she's noticed between forecasting in Kansas and Colorado. We'll also talk about some of her on-air experiences during high impact weather events, including winter storms and severe weather. As always, we'll get a bit of her advice for future broadcast meteorologists.
